Collections practices and legal compliance

This page describes how the product behaves when you pursue overdue invoices. It deliberately avoids claims we cannot demonstrate, and it is not legal advice.

You control who gets contacted, and how

Nothing is sent without your approval. Messages are drafted from your own data, and you approve the content, the tone and the timing before anything leaves the system.

We do not misrepresent anything in outreach

Outreach states only what your records show: the invoice, the amount and the due date. No threats of legal action that is not actually being taken, no implied consequences, no misleading pressure tactics.

Customers can ask to stop being contacted

A request to stop is recorded against that customer's record and respected in future outreach queues, so the same person is not pulled back into a later run.

Commercial collections law varies by jurisdiction

In the United States, the FDCPA governs consumer debt collection. Business-to-business collections carry fewer restrictions, but rules on unfair or deceptive practices, contact frequency and disclosures still apply. The product reflects general good practice; you remain responsible for knowing the rules that apply to you. This is not legal advice, and we are not a law firm.

Everything is logged

Every message drafted, every approval, every send and every customer response is recorded in the audit trail, with who acted and when.

Approval is required before anything is sent

There is no automatic sending without explicit human approval. Approval authority follows the roles you configure for your workspace.

What we do not do

  • We do not send anything automatically without your explicit approval. There is no hidden sending path.
  • We are not a licensed collections agency and we do not act as your debt collector. This is software that helps you run your own recovery process using your own records.
  • We do not guarantee that using this product satisfies your legal obligations under any specific collections law. If you operate in a regulated industry or jurisdiction, speak to your own counsel.
  • We do not guarantee recovery. Offer subject to applicable terms and conditions.
